Can I use Wave with real funds?＋
Not yet. The lab uses sample prices and virtual balances. Solidity contracts have been tested locally, but the interface is not connected to deployed contracts. This is an experimental prototype.
What exactly does a basket share represent?＋
In the contract prototype, shares represent proportional ownership of accounted underlying assets. $WAVE is a separate optional voting token, with no claim on those assets.
Who decides when a basket rebalances?＋
The basket’s manager proposes exact trades among fixed components. After a one-hour notice, anyone can execute the exact proposal subject to expiry, a 24-hour cooldown, and limits. These controls do not guarantee good performance or fair market execution.
Is every basket safe to use?＋
No. Permissionless creation is not a safety endorsement. Assets, managers, feeds, and swap adapters require review. The prototype contracts are not audited.
Do I need $WAVE to use the platform?＋
No. Core basket creation, investment, and withdrawals do not require $WAVE. The optional token does not control the basket contracts.
